State Farm Motorcycle Insurance
When I was younger I was unsure what I wanted to do for a living. I had no particular dream to follow up on. I had not always wanted to be a lawyer or a doctor. I never wanted to be a police officer. It was just a matter of finding my niche. I needed to get a little practical life experience before coming to a conclusion about what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I had a lot of jobs before I found the one that I would like enough to stay for good. I tried to work in a transmission shop for a time but I didn’t really like the work. It was long hours & hard work. I always had scrapes & cuts on my knuckles. I even had the transmission from a car dropped on me one time as I was working on taking it out. After that I worked for mayflower moving company for a while & that was ok but I could not see myself doing it on a permanent basis. I worked as a salesman in an office. I tried that several different times hoping that I could find a steady job with a product I trusted & liked but that never panned out at all.
Eventually a buddy of mine asked me if I ever thought about working for an insurance company. He said he worked for one & found it to be an excellent career path. I had not considered it before that day but I immediately did & came to the conclusion that it was something I would be willing to try for a time. He set up an interview & I went in not knowing what to expect. I liked the manager doing the interview. He was funny & took the time to get to know me a bit. I guess he liked me because a few days later I got the call. He said that they wanted to do a pretty hard core training session & as long as I could pass that without any problem then I would be welcomed into the family.
I did pass all of my training requirements & started my new job shortly. I enjoyed it so much. It is like I am helping people find the best way to protect their future. They are able to find the plan that best suits them because I can help them discover their true needs. I have never felt so accomplished in any job I had & I do not want to leave this one ever. As long as I am able to continue doing what I do & loving it, I do not see any change from State Farm in the future.
